African Regulatory Forum on Medical Diagnostics

The aim of the forum is to
  • Provide a platform for National Regulatory Authorities in the African region to share best practice
  • To facilitate interactions between the National Regulatory Authorities and the medical diagnostics industry
  • To help drive the shared goal of affordable access to medical diagnostics
  • To ensure that regulatory approval is not a barrier to innovation.

As of April 2015 the forum has been held 3 times, in July 2013 in Nairobi, Kenya, January 2014 in Cape Town, South Africa and November 2014 in Cape Town, South Africa. for details of the meetings including reports and recommendations see the relevant pages.
